My computer crashed and I had to reinstall windows and lost all my data and had to reinstall my programs. My fbcb liscense no longer works because it was installed on my computer previouse and it says i have exceeded the number of installs. How can i reinstall on the computer without purchasing again, I have my info from the prior purchase if needed

Im trying to reinstall the game on the same computer it was already on, and the liscense states I have exceeded the number of computers. I had a system crash and want to reinstall the game and can't because of this issue.

You need to email E-License, as they are the company that would be able to restore a license back for you. Generally if you send them a polite email explaining what happened to your computer they will give you one back, however they are a business and I have heard of them sometimes denying a claim. Good luck!!

I originally purchased FBCB back in early 2004. Back in 2007, my HD crashed and I lost the receipt, everything, etc. This past Sunday, I tried to find the orginal CD that I had burnt the installation files to with no luck. Knowing that I probably didn't stand a chance with the E-License people of getting another license anyway, I downloaded the trial version from the FBBB site (Version 1.1.2) with the intentions of buying a new license. When I clicked on purchase, I was taken to the Viatech site to enter my CC info but the system just hung and told me that there was a proxy/firewall settings issue which I know is not the case because the firewall was turned off and I have purchased other games on the same PC with them w/o any problems. I desperately want this game back, but I am afraid that there my be an issue with ViaTech in obtaining it. Is there a newer version that I can download that might be more compatible with their licensing format?
Incidentally, about the same time in 2003 , I purchased a similiar BKB game
(lets just call it TD) and when I tried to reinstall and re-license it (I still had the order number for it), Viatech stated that they had no record of that game on their servers. (even though I sent them the complete details of the order receipt they sent me. I currently have 2 tickets open with them for this, but they are not very prompt in responding. Any ideas?

I am not sure on this but I believe that you will need to contact elicense on this problem. They should be able to re-issue your ID for you just as long as you have it to give them. You should send Brian a private message directly on this issue since this involves your elicense.
