I'll be running FBB as the Los Angeles Lakers. Thought it would be cool to go into the future a bit, start a fictional league and see how well I can do.

I set the cap at $50,000,000. With that being said, I have a total of $13,436,432.

FA Day 1:
Team Goals:
Bring in a legit starting point guard to start for the Lakers
Another defensive big that can start center or power forward
Sign Role players

Day 1 Bids:
PG Pedro Howell Age: 29 6'3" C+ A- A B+ C C
-A solid veteran point guard, who passes real well and has a very nice jump shot rated at 92.
-Offered $8,000,000 Starting, 3 years, 10% raise.

C Pete Mariotti Age: 22 7'0" A- C D+ B+ A- C
-A young 7'0" who is exactly what I am looking for, good scorer inside, strength at 100, and rebounding that is very nice.
-Offered $6,000,000 Starting, 6 years, 10% raise.

Post Day 1:
It looks like both decided to sign elsewhere. Howell got a max deal and went to Pistons. Mariotti signed with the Clippers.

Day 2 Bids:
C Jerome Ceballos Age: 23 7'0" B C- C- B B C
-No Matiotti but Ceballos should be cheaper and he is still very young. Best current offer starting 6.4m for 2 years.
-Offered 6,500,000 Starting, 3 years, 5%

PF Tracy Haskins Age: 37 6'10" B B C+ B A- D
-Old but productive, can stretch the floor and rebounds well. No offers for him
-Offered 1,300,000 just one year.

PG Rodney Pippen Age: 27 6'1" C B A- B C D
-Not the greatest point guard, but currently no offers and better then both my current point guards on the team.
Offered 1,000,000 Starting, 2 years, 0% raise

Post Day 2:
Ended up signing Ceballos which is nice and should help us right away in the lineup. Both Haskins and Pippen are yet to sign.

The cap left I have is at $6,936,432

Day 3 Bids:
PF Tracy Haskins (See above)
PG Rodney Pippen (See above)

PG Cole Taylor Age: 27 6'2" B B B B C D
-Another solid PG, more of a combo guard though. No offers yet.
-Offered 1,936,432 Starting, 2 years, 0% raise.

PF Jonathan Daly Age: 20 6'10" C+ C+ C+ C+ C+ A
-A young lanky forward with 96 potential. If I can lock him up cheap, would be a steal if he explodes in TC.
-Offered 3,000,000 Starting, 6 years, 5% raise.

Post Day 3:
Signed Daly, which I wasn't surprised but feel like I got a huge steal in him. Very excited for his future.
Taylor signed with the Raptors for a hefty price 46+M over 5 years.
Pippen signed with the Suns for LLE which hurts while Haskins signed with the Clippers for MLE.

I still have $3,936,432 in cap, I will need to use this cap up in case I want to use my MLE and LLE for Day 5.

Day 4 Bids
PG Marcus MacCulloch Age: 33 6'3" B- C+ B+ B C C
-A good passer, a bit worried about his handles though.
-Offered 1 year 3,936,432.

Post Day 4:
Ended up signing MacCulloch which is another decent signing for the season.

Used up the rest of my cap so I can throw out MLE and LLE for my last two roster spots.

Day 5 Bids:
SG Luis Twyman Age: 28 6'4" B- A- C B+ C C
-Very nice jumpshot and a decent athlete.
-Offered MLE

PG Chuck Ketner Age: 23 6'1" C C B B+ C A
-This is more of a signing for the future as he has 86 potential.
-Offered 3 year minimum.

Post Day 5:
Looks like Twyman signed with the Pacers who still had quite a bit of cap left.
Was able to sign Ketner for the future though.

Trade News:
Lakers trade:
PG Cameron Stackhouse Age: 28 6'3" C B- C+ B+ C C
2042 First Round Draft Pick
2041 Second Round Draft Pick

Bulls Trade:
SG Darius Dean Age: 23 6'5" B B+ B B+ C- F
2043 First Round Draft Pick

Reason: Stackhouse was on a miserable 3 year deal, starting at a little over 5 million. I now get a legit starting shooting guard who is on an expiring deal and future draft pick.

Day 3: Lakers @ Warriors
Lakers Overall Record: 2-0
Warriors Overall Record: 1-1

Quarter 1: Lakers 23 Warriors 36
Highlights: Playing awful. Kemp, Ceballos, and Chamberlain all with 2 fouls. Medvedenko leads the way with 8 points.

Quarter 2: Lakers 52 Warriors 72
Highlights: Everything is dropping for the Warriors as they shoot 57% from the field. We are turning the ball over like crazy. Medvedenko has 12, Daly has 9.

Quarter 3: Lakers 79 Warriors 108
Highlights: And the continue to pour on the points. Medvedenko has 20. Warriors shooting 62% from the field. This game looks like a lost cause.

Quarter 4: Lakers 95 Warriors 140
Highlights: Well, they only scored 32 points this quarter.. but this was just an all around bad game for us.

POTG: David Sura (Warriors)

Leaders:
PTS: Medvedenko 22
RBS: Dodd 11
AST: MacCulloch 9

Day 4: Grizzlies @ Lakers
Grizzlies Overall Record: 1-2
Lakers Overall Record: 2-1

Quarter 1: Grizzlies 31 Lakers 21
Highlights: It's all about turnovers. We have 6 and they only have 1. Medvedenko and Ceballos have 8 a piece for the Lakers.

Quarter 2: Grizzlies 57 Lakers 46
Highlights: Finished the quarter on an 8-0 run which was good. Need to cut into the lead though. Ceballos with 15 and Medvedenko with 13 and 8 boards.

Quarter 3: Grizzlies 74 Lakers 63
Highlights: Still can't dwindle that lead down. Need to cut down the turnovers and also get on the boards more.

Quarter 4: Grizzlies 101 Lakers 85
Highlights: We shot better then the Grizzlies but 18 turnovers was awful.

POTG: Chris Fleisher (Grizzlies)

Leaders:
PTS: Ceballos 20
RBS: Ceballos 9
AST: MacCulloch 8

Day 6: Knicks @ Lakers
Knicks Overall Record: 2-2
Lakers Overall Record: 2-2

Quarter 1: Knicks 17 Lakers 22
Highlights: Offensively were missing a lot, but the Knicks have fouled us 7 times and we've yet to have a foul called on us yet. Medvedenko has 11 to lead the way.

Quarter 2: Knicks 45 Lakers 38
Highlights: They turned it up defensively and held us to 16 points, Medvedenko has 20 points. Turnovers are killing us as we already are in the double digits at 10. They are also out rebounding us 32-29.

Quarter 3: Knicks 82 Lakers 56
Highlights: A little more of the same. 8 more turnovers in that quarter alone. They also grabbed four more rebounds then us that quarter. Were just not meshing well.

Quarter 4: Knicks 104 Lakers 80
Highlights: 23 turnovers for the game is ridiculous. It was nice see Darius Dean score though as he had 20 points.

POTG: Hayden Shireman

Leaders:
PTS: Medvedenko
RBS: Ceballos
AST: MacCulloch

Day 7: Lakers @ Grizzlies
Lakers Overall Record: 2-3
Grizzlies Overall Record: 3-3

Quarter 1: Lakers 31 Grizzlies 35
Highlights: Not going to be able to hang with these guys if they continue to score like this. Medvedenko has 11. Chamberlain also added 8.

Quarter 2: Lakers 62 Grizzlies 54
Highlights: Much better quarter for us. Medvedenko had 25, Dean added 14, and MacCulloch threw 9 assists.

Quarter 3: Lakers 93 Grizzlies 94
Highlights: We gave up the lead. However, they are starting to get tired. Medvedenko continues his scoring streak with 32 points now, MacCulloch added to his total and now has 13 assists.

Quarter 4: Lakers 126 Grizzlies 118
Highlights: Got some payback! Medvedenko had himself a game with 42 points, Dean once again showing he can be a great second option as he pours in 22 with 4 assists and rebounds.

POTG: Medvedenko

Leaders:
PTS: Medvedenko 42
RBS: Chamberlain 9
AST: MacCulloch 17

Day 8: Lakers @ Cavaliers
Lakers Overall Record: 3-3
Cavaliers Overall Record: 2-1

Quarter 1: Lakers 20 Cavaliers 32
Highlights: They are shooting lights out right now, and we can't seem to hit anything. Kemp has 8 to lead us through the first quarter.

Quarter 2: Lakers 37 Cavaliers 51
Highlights: Shooting 34% from the field. 8 turnovers. Medvedenko only has 4 points shooting 3 of 12. Kemp is playing possibly his best game of the year thus far, 12 points and 12 rebounds in 18 minutes.

Quarter 3: Lakers 65 Cavaliers 79
Highlights: Better offensively, need to make a serious run to start this fourth quarter to have a chance. Kemp with 14 and 14.

Quarter 4: Lakers Cavaliers
Highlights: We cut it within four, but late wasn't able to pull it off. Kemp with 20 and 19 tonight.

POTG: Stevenson (Cavaliers)

Leaders:
PTS: Kemp 20
RBS: Kemp 19
AST: MacCulloch 7

Day 9: Lakers @ 76ers
Lakers Overall Record: 3-4
76ers Overall Record: 4-2

Quarter 1: Lakers 27 76ers 38
Highlights: Another team that can't miss right away. We've also turned the ball over 5 times already, which is killing us considering they have yet to turn the ball over once. Medvedenko with 12 points

Quarter 2: Lakers 54 76ers 67
Highlights: Better defensively, but still not where it needs to be for us to win this game. Kemp and Ceballos both in foul trouble.

Quarter 3: Lakers 79 76ers 93
Highlights: Other then the fact that Medvedenko has 25 that's about the only good thing going on right now.

Quarter 4: Lakers 88 76ers 107
Highlights: Pathetic. 9 points that entire quarter.

POTG: Ellison (76ers)

Leaders:
PTS: Medvedenko 27
RBS: Ceballos 11
AST: MacCulloch
