With Day 1, we signed Center veteran Erick Dampier for the veteran's minimum over one year. As an acquisition of the Free Agency there's also Demetri McCamey with the LLE, who will fit better in the system than C.J. Watson in my opinion.
It's obvious that we have to finish with winning the Division Championship at the end of the season and get a shot at the Heat. Getting this fully started tomorrow or the day after, season starting off with an home opener against the Spurs.

Rose's layup saves Home Opener for Bulls
In a competitive start in the season, the Bulls were able to defeat a strong Spurs team with a 2 point differential. Derrick Rose's contested layup with 3 seconds left in the fourth quarter won the game, after the Spurs led at halftime with 64:60. Derrick Rose played big time, racking up 31 points and 8 assists while compensating Carlos Boozer's struggles (8 points/5 rebounds). Joakim Noah stepped up with 23 points and 16 rebounds. At the end, Chiacgo could win with 113:111.

Other games:
CLIPPERS 120, Nets 100 ~ C. Paul - 35 pts, 6 reb, 11 as
Wizards 94, MAGIC 73 ( ) ~ J. Wall - 25 pts, 11 reb, 11 as
HEAT 123, Knicks 116 ~ L. James - 43 pts, 13 reb, 4 stl

BULLS 130, Wizards 104 (Day 3)
We had to be careful as the Wiz got into the season with 2-0 after defeating also the Grizzlies last night. But Rose (36/7/11) and a revived Carlos Boozer (33 pts/16 reb) who wanted to make up for his poor first outing took home the game. Taj Gibson got injured for 3 days early in the second quarter. John Wall dished out 18 assists, but struggled from the floor while shooting 5 of 17. That makes it a good start into the season.

BULLS 121, Nets 100 (Day 5)
Third home game in a row and a must-win for the team. Setting the tone early in the first with 30-17 and Carlos Boozer playing strong with 28 points and 11 rebounds, Luol Deng respectively with 26 and 11. Deron Williams went wild this night (8-24 FGs). Shooting (Bulls over 50 FG%, Nets near 40 FG%) and teamplay (30 assists) made it a W.

Next week is coming up with a stuffed program - starting off at home against the Blazers, then going on the road at Indiana, Detroit, New York and the duel with the Thunder. Quite packed but with 3 wins at the moment at hand, we'll see how the team will compete on the go.

BULLS 124, Timberwolves 101 (Day 6)
Getting the fourth win of the season before heading out on the tough road trip. Derrick Rose did shine once again, accumulating 30 points and 12 assists. Richard Hamilton scored a season-high of 25 points and the team keeps on rolling. Only Lamarcus Aldridge tried to withstand the Bulls, before the third quarter decided the game with 30-17 for us.
Rose (29,5 PPG, 9,5 APG) is having a great start into the season, shooting 54,2 FG% in the first four games.

Trade Alert
Heat give: Mike Miller
Cavaliers give: Kyrie Irving

Pacers give: George Hill
Cavaliers give: Luke Harangody

PACERS 108, Bulls 89 (Day 7)
Ouch, that hurt. Directly in the first road game, the team goes down hard. The whole team having an off-night with 37,2 FG%, and Derrick Rose held to only 6 points and 9 shot attempts. With Danny Granger going into beast mode (35 pts/10 reb/6 as) on the other hand, not much chance left.

In the finals rewind, the Mavericks defeated the Heat 101-98. Lamar Odom chipped in a triple double (12 pts/20 reb/10 as) for the win, it was the Heat's first loss of the season similar to the Bulls. Both contenders standing at 4 W and 1 L.

PISTONS 110, Bulls 79 (Day 8)
What the hell. The second straight loss, and an embassering one. The shooting struggles continue, we were only converting 35,6 percent of our attempts. Only two players in double digits (Boozer: 26 points, Rose: 16 points) and the desaster is complete. Now on to the Knicks and Thunder.

KNICKS 93, Bulls 85 (Day 9)
No current injuries, but we keep losing. Amare Stoudemire with 27 and 12 and we keep missing everything. Again. Only 34,5 FG% are not acceptable, going to fine-tune the tactics. After a great start, Derrick Rose is struggling lately. Over the last three games, he was limited to 11,7 PPG and 35,7 FG% himself. If the first option goes down, it's hard to compensate him.

Bulls 107, THUNDER 97 (Day 10)
Yes, we're bouncing back. Carlos Boozer man-handled Serge Ibaka with 36 points and 17 rebounds, while Kevin Durant also scored 39 and grabbed 7 rebounds. Good shooting defense and a big advantage in the rebouding area gave us the edge, while Derrick Rose's problems continued once again, scoring "only" 12 points.

With five wins and three losses, we sit at third in the Eastern Conference. No teams is unbeaten anymore, with the Mavericks leading the pack with 6-1. LeBron is red hot with 34,0 PPG in his first seven games, while Dwight Howard rapes with 15,6 RPG and 3,1 BPG every opposing frontcourt for the Magic's bad start (2-5).

thanks! got some trouble with the internet, but looking to fix that soon.

Bulls 92, CAVS 86 (Day 11)
Some massive problems on the offensive end prevented us from having a greater lead against a solid Cavaliersā€˜ squad. Carlos Boozer once again led us with 20/11, while Antawn Jamison on the other side got off with 25 and 11. We had 16 more shot attempts than the Cavs but were only able to convert four of those. Derrick Rose had a solid outing with 17 points and 12 assists but is nevertheless struggling to rack up the numbers that are expected from him.

Other games:
Trail Blazers 118, THUNDER 115 ~ K. Durant: 49 pts/11 reb
MAGIC 102, Pacers ~ D. Howard: 35 pts/11 reb/5 as

BULLS 137, Warriors 109 (Day 13)
A monster blowout against exhausted warriors who could never able to catch up and were down with 20 already at halftime. Boozer put up 29 and 15 before fouling out and Luol Deng came up with a season-high of 26 points. A +21 advantage on the boards and superiority in nearly every statistical aspect say it all.

Other games:
LAKERS 102, Clippers 95 ~ A. Bynum: 29 prs/19 reb (Kobe's out)

Ahead:
Day 14:
Magic @ BULLS
Lakers rematch @ CLIPPERS
Day 15:
Pacers @ HEAT
Bucks @ BULLS

Magic 110, BULLS 92
Ouch. Nothing describes it best. With Joakim Noah falling into foul trouble early on, Dwight Howard reigned in the paint and did what he wanted to. 44 points, 24 rebounds and 4 assists later, we had faced a major desaster. While Boozer and Rose respectively had solid outings, the rest of the squad couldn't keep up.
A loss that is well deserved - reminds that I'm in need of some quality backup big man.

Other games:
Lakers 104, CLIPPERS 102 ~ P. Gasol: 32 pts/14 reb/6 as + A. Bynum: 30 pts/10 reb

BULLS 121, Bucks 94
Six guys scored in double figures, led by Derrick Rose (27 points + 13 assists) who seems to have slowly regained his normal composure. On the other end, Brandon Jennings came up with a TD (17/10/10) in 40 minutes.

Other games:
HEAT 123, Pacers 90 ~ D. Wade: 33 pts/10 reb/6-6 3PA
