I forfeit my first attempt, as the expansion roster is too weak for arousing my interest. This time still adopt most of the house rules and league setting before, except throw in an additional criteria for me to step down, that I'll lose my seat after 3 consecutive losing seasons.

Again, I'll take the San Diego Conquistadors (Q's), and pick my initial roster from a pool of unprotected players from the current 28 teams. I'd change the protection rules a bit: each team could only retain 8 players (I select for them with no bias), while the rest become expansion draftees. Each team would not loss more than 1 player in the draft.

Below is the San Diego Q's 1970-71 roster just after the expansion draft:

Starters (Age, Ht, Wt, In, Out, Hn, Df, Reb, Pot):

C - Luke Jackson, 29, 6'9", 250, C+, C-, C-, C+, A-, C
PF - Toby Kimball, 28, 6'8", 220, C+, D, D, B, A-, B
SF - Bob Rule, 26, 6'9", 220, B+, C, D, B-, C+, B
SG - Keith Erickson, 26, 6'5", 195, C+, C+, C+, C+, C, B
PG - Fred Carter, 25, 6'3", 185, C+, B-, C, A-, C, A

2nd String:

C - Al Cueto, 24, 6'8", 230, C+, C-, D+, B-, B-, C
PF - Carl Fuller, 24, 6'9", 225, B-, D+, D, C-, B, C
SF - Steve Kuberski, 23, 6'8", 215, B-, C-, D+, C-, B, B
SG - Bob Arnzen, 23, 6'6", 210, C+, C, D, B, C+, C
PG - Fatty Taylor, 24, 6'0", 180, C+, C-, C+, A, C, B

Towel Wavers:

PF/C - Gary Bradds, 28, 6'8" ,220, B-, C-, D-, C, B-, C
SG/PG - Chuck Williams, 24, 6'2", 175, B-, C-, C, A, C-, A

IL:

SF - Walt Simon, 31, 6'6", 200, C+, D+, C, B-, C+, B
SG - John Baum, 24, 6'5", 200, C+, C-, D+, A, C, B
SG - Mike Riordan, 25, 6'4", 200, C+, C, C-, A-, C-, A

Team Strategy:

Pace - Very Slow
Trap - Normal
Press - Often
Focus - Inside
Offense Key Players - Bob Rule, Fred Carter, Luke Jackson

----------------
R.I.P.
Marc-Vivien Foe
1975-2003
----------------

Season 1970 - Day 81 to Day 100:

Day 81 - The Q's traded backup PG Fatty Taylor (age 24, C+, C-, C+, A, C, B, 2.5 ppg + 2.7 apg) and a 1973 2nd round pick to Chicago Bulls for starting PG Bob Weiss (age 28, C, C, A-, B+, D+, B, 5.2 ppg + 6.2 apg + 1.8 spg). Taylor's contract is 4 years 9.32m (1.94m this season), and Weiss's contract is 4 years 10.49m (2.18m this season).

This move aims to improve our ballhandling and playmaking, as we've the worst record of TOPG now (18.4, next one is the Condors, 16.8 ) , so I decided to give up one of my best defenders for an instant upgrade at the PG position. While for the Bulls, they can acquire a young defensive specialist PG with potential.

Here's the Q's lineup after the move:

C - Jackson/Cueto/Bradds
PF - Kimball/Fuller/Bradds
SF - Rule/Kuberski/Arnzen
SG - Carter/Erickson/Arnzen
PG - Weiss/Williams/Erickson

Day 100 - The Q's are still bottom in the West with a 19-48 (3-8 this month) record.
