Glad to be the first one to share a FBB2013 dynasty report.

As part of my experience to get familiar with the game (particularly the historical league bit), I'd created a solo historical league starting from mid-1946 when the history of pro basketball get started.

Let's all wind back to 1946...

1946-47

Pre-season

Became the GM of Pittsburgh Ironmen as it finished last in the real life. No major changes to the roster except accepted a trade offer from Cleveland Rebels to exchange backup C Gorham Getchall for PG Nick Shaback, as well as picked up FA big man Leo Mogus.

Season

Beat all the odds to crown the Western Conference with a 44-16 record and eventually reached the final, but lost to Knicks 3-4.

Individual performance

I was selected as the GM of the Year. SF Hank Zeller (PPG: 12.3, RPG: 7.2, APG 2.2) was the league MVP. Other star players include SG Walt Miller (PPG: 12.3, RPG: 5.4, APG: 2.3, All-League First Team) and PF Roger Jorgensen (PPG: 9.8, RPG: 9.1, All-League Third Team).

1947-48

Off-season

Started unemployed as Pittsburgh Ironmen was disbanded after the 1946-47 season (!!). Found my new home as the newly joined Baltimore Bullets GM.

Former Ironmen big man C John Mills was picked in the dispersal draft and became the first player in the team's history, followed by two rookies - first round first pick C Mike Bloom (debut at 32) and second round first pick PG Buddy Jeannette (debut at 29).

During the FA period, John Mills' former teammates SF Hank Zeller and SG Walt Miller also joined the team. Another big name arrival was former Detroit Falcons' C Harold Johnson under a 4-year $33,341 contract.

Season

Won the Western Conference title with a 26-22 record by beating second place Chicago Stags on the last day of the regular season. I made the final again, but this time lost to the Philadelphia Warriors 2-4.

Individual performance

C Mike Bloom (PPG: 8.3, RPG: 10.0, BPG 2.0) was the Rookie of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year. SF Hank Zeller (PPG: 9.8, RPG 6.3) made the All-League First Team two in a row. Rookie PG Buddy Jeannette (PPG: 13.0, RPG: 4.1, APG: 3.0) made the All-Rookie First Team.
